Great to meet you!

I am a therapist who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s most difficult moments with compassion, honesty, and support. I have over 15 years of experience in human services, including hospice care, bereavement support, aging services, and mental health counseling.

I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and trauma-related experiences. My background allows me to provide care that is both clinically informed and deeply compassionate.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe, judgment-free space where clients can show up authentically and begin healing at their own pace. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, develop healthier coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and feel empowered in their everyday lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and client-centered. I understand that every person’s story is unique, so I tailor treatment to meet each client’s individual needs, goals, and comfort level.

I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based therapy, solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies. I also incorporate emotional processing, psychoeducation, and practical coping skills to help clients better manage stress, anxiety, grief, and life challenges.

I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and emotionally safe. Therapy with me is not about judgment — it’s about growth, healing, accountability, and learning how to navigate life with greater confidence and emotional balance.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin building trust and discussing what brings them to therapy. This session is an opportunity for me to learn more about your experiences, concerns, goals, and the areas of life you would like support with.

We will talk about your emotional wellness, current stressors, personal history, coping patterns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Clients are encouraged to move at a pace that feels comfortable for them — there is no pressure to share everything at once.

My goal during the first session is to help clients feel safe, understood, and supported while beginning to establish realistic goals and a treatment plan tailored to their needs. Therapy is a partnership, and together we work toward healing, growth, and meaningful progress.
