Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with specialized training in mental health and substance use disorders, holding credentials as a Master Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and am currently working toward full EMDR certification, with a clinical focus on trauma-informed care. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard. I strive to create a supportive and welcoming space where you can show up just as you are. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, meeting each person where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs, goals, and pace. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or life transitions, I am committed to walking alongside you as you work toward healing and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I incorporate additional evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs and goals.

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to effective trauma and mental health treatment. I work collaboratively with clients in a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space, carefully attending to both the meaning and emotional impact of their experiences. My goal is to support clients in processing distressing experiences, developing effective coping strategies, and moving toward greater emotional balance and well-being.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, our focus will be on creating a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. We’ll take time to get to know each other, discuss your current challenges, and gather information about your history, well-being, and any experiences that may be affecting your mental health.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy and discuss how we can work toward them using approaches tailored to your needs, including trauma-informed care, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based methods. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapy process and what to expect in future sessions, so you feel comfortable and confident as we begin your journey toward healing and growth.
