Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Monica! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have been involved in social work for eight years. Most of my career has been helping children, parents, and families in child welfare. I completed my Bachelor's degree (2014) in Psychology and then received my Master's degree in Social Work (2018).

My approach to therapy

Perhaps you know exactly what issue is popping up for you, but you might not! I am here to help you become more self-aware, build self-esteem, and bridge the gap between unwelcomed behaviors and the thoughts leading there. I am keen at picking up on patterns and relaying them back to you, which you may or may not have been aware of. I do not have a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

What you can expect from me

While I'm able to meet you where you're at in life, I believe that you're coming to therapy for a reason, which is typically to grow in an area of your life. I may push you to think about your growth, which can be new and uncomfortable. I am always seeking to understand and hear you; I do not judge or make assumptions about you.
