I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides warm, open-minded, and nonjudgmental care across the adult lifespan and for ages 12 and up, with a special focus in geriatric psychiatry. I have experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, sleep problems/insomnia, bipolar spectrum disorders, and schizophrenia.
I start by really listening—getting to know your story, what you’ve already tried, what matters most to you, and what you want from treatment (not just what your diagnosis is). I’ll offer my clinical perspective and explain options in plain language so you understand the “why” behind any recommendation.
In a first session with me, you can expect a low-pressure, get‐to‐know‐you conversation where I listen to what brought you in and what you’d like help with. I’ll ask about your symptoms, history, medical background, and safety in a respectful way, and you can always say if something feels like too much for day one. I’ll share my impressions in clear language, review treatment options (therapy strategies, medications, or both), and we’ll decide together on a starting plan. You’ll have time to ask questions, and we’ll set up a follow‐up to see how you’re doing and adjust as needed.
