Great to meet you!

I am a second generation bilingual Mexican American. I obtained my master’s degree from Jane Adams School of social work. I specialize in treating anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression.

I have worked with adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationships issues, anger issues, chronic illness, and life transitions. I provide therapy in English and Spanish

My approach to therapy

I aim to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental therapeutic space and aim to meet you where you are at. My approach is mainly using cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). My goal is to provide support/guidance to address the issues you are struggling with. I want to know what it is like to be you, I am here to listen.

What you can expect from me

During our first session/appointment I will conduct an initial assessment and together we will work on goal setting. This is where I gather information about yourself, to help me better understand you. Think of it like a puzzle, I need collect and put the puzzle pieces together so I can see the whole picture.

I also go over some of the intake paperwork and address any questions you might have.
