Great to meet you!

I have worked in mental healthcare for 10 years, initially within mental health housing and for the last four years within clinical practice. I have two Masters-level degrees, in forensic psychology and in marriage and family therapy. My specialization is in severe mental illness (e.g. psychosis, dissociative trauma), as well as in working with the LGBTQ population.

My approach to therapy

I try my best to create an environment that is curious and comfortable, while focusing on integrative analysis of the past and the present. I tend to focus on how the mind and emotions work, and how to practically apply that knowledge to better understand how we move through the world and our choices.

What you can expect from me

I find that therapy works best when a patient has a question to be answered. My first session is typically a dive into the problems at hand to better articulate the question, to guide therapy in the weeks to come.
