Great to meet you!

I’m Monica Mills, a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Healing Marvelous Minds.

I work with people who are used to being the strong one for everyone else—but inside feel overwhelmed, anxious, or mentally exhausted.

If your mind won’t slow down, you overthink everything, or you feel stuck in survival mode, you’re not alone.

I help you understand what’s happening in your brain and nervous system so you can feel more in control, more grounded, and more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative.

I focus on helping you understand your brain and nervous system—not just talk about what’s wrong, but actually learn how to shift it.

We work through anxiety, patterns, past experiences, and burnout while building tools you can use in real life.

For clients who connect with it, I also incorporate a “superhero” lens—helping you be strong for yourself without burning out trying to be everything for everyone.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what’s been weighing on you and what you’re hoping will change.

You won’t be judged or rushed—I’ll meet you where you are.

We’ll begin identifying patterns, what’s keeping you stuck, and small steps to help you feel more grounded and in control.

Most clients leave feeling more understood, more at ease, and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.
