Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals who are navigating challenges related to mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative and client-centered—I believe in building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, empathy, and respect.

My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and attentive. I take the time to truly listen and understand your unique experience, so we can work together to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values. This may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle modifications, or integrative approaches, tailored to meet your specific needs.

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Maryville University, and I have several years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I’ve worked with diverse populations, including adolescents and adults, and I have a particular interest in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and life transitions.

What inspires me most is witnessing the resilience and growth that can happen when people feel supported and empowered. I bring not only clinical expertise but also a genuine commitment to helping you feel seen, heard, and understood.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym, and traveling. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your path toward healing and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is holistic, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I view each client as a whole person, not just a diagnosis, and I take the time to understand your unique story, values, and goals. I believe the most effective care happens when we work together as partners in your mental health journey. My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you build resilience, clarity, and long-term well-being.

I strive to create a safe, respectful space where you feel heard, accepted, and empowered to make informed decisions about your care. Whether you're navigating a life transition, managing a chronic mental health condition, or just seeking support, I will meet you where you are—with empathy, clinical expertise, and a commitment to helping you thrive.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and better equipped to manage the challenges they’re facing. My goal is for each session to provide a sense of clarity, direction, and relief—whether through understanding your symptoms more clearly, adjusting a treatment plan, learning a new coping strategy, or simply having a safe space to process what’s going on.
