Great to meet you!

I attended Utah Valley University where I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology. I also completed courses for licensure as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor. My graduate degree is a Master’s of Counseling and l am licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. My approach to therapy is eclectic and utilizes creative expression, experiential, person-centered and behavioral techniques. Areas of specialized training include, accelerated resolution therapy (ART), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), both empirically validated interventions for the treatment of trauma. She is also a member of the LGBTQ-Affirmative Psychotherapist Guild of Utah.

My approach to therapy

When working with clients I rely on the individual being the expert on their needs. My goal is to broaden the perspective and help reveal what clients may have not yet discovered about themselves as they work toward their goals.

What you can expect from me

As the client, you will quickly learn, that you are in the drivers seat. I will be here with you, and I have a map, but it is you who will pick the destination. You are the expert of your needs. This means you get to decide what direction to go, how fast you want to get there, and what route to take.
