Great to meet you!

The provider is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Hello! I’m Monicarose Orozco, your compassionate Mental Health Counselor providing services in the silver state of Nevada and Sunny Florida! Fluent in both English and Spanish, I offer a warm and empathetic communication style, along with meticulous attention to detail—all essential in guiding you on your path to mental wellness.

I have a particular focus on art therapy, trauma, child and family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mood disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, veterans’ mental health, and relationship challenges. These areas of specialization equip me with the tools to address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

When you choose to work with me as your therapist, you can expect a space filled with authenticity and honesty. I believe that the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust and openness. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe to express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.

I am a compassionate therapist who genuinely cares about your well-being. I understand that life can be challenging, and everyone faces their own unique struggles. My role is to walk alongside you on your journey, helping you navigate through the ups and downs. I am here to listen, support, and guide you as you work towards your personal goals.

What you can expect from me

Throughout our sessions, I use various therapeutic techniques that suit the individual client. I may incorporate talk therapy, mindfulness exercises, or cognitive-behavioral strategies, depending on what resonates with them. I also emphasize the importance of self-care and coping strategies that clients can use outside of our sessions.

As we progress, I regularly check in with clients about their feelings and experiences in therapy. This feedback loop helps us to adjust our approach as needed and ensures that clients feel comfortable and supported. I believe that therapy is a journey, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their path to healing and growth.

In summary, my typical process for working with clients is centered around understanding their unique stories, building a trusting relationship, and collaborating on their goals. I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings
