Great to meet you!
When I was eighteen, watching my mother do volunteer work at the VA with psychiatric patients profoundly impacted me, and I decided then that I wanted to dedicate my life to becoming a therapist. Today, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, it is a deep privilege to help you establish a secure, empowering baseline for your care. My practice began in 1980, and over my 45 years of clinical experience, I have found incredible meaning in working with people to improve their lives. I attended California State University, Northridge for my undergraduate and graduate degrees, taking additional coursework at USC and UCLA. I work with individuals of all ages who can manage telehealth, offering support to adolescents, adults, seniors, and couples in both English and Spanish. While I support clients navigating a wide range of challenges—from PTSD and family conflict to aging and cultural stress—depression and anxiety are my biggest focus, including postpartum depression.
