I am a California girl at heart since that is where I grew up, but I have been living in South Florida now for 20 years. I have two adult children and am a family-oriented person. My background is South American since I was born in Brazil and came here as a young child. My parents are Brazilian and Ecuadorian and so I understand not only American culture but also Latin culture as well.
My approach to therapy is heart-centered and trauma-informed. I have been described by clients as direct but gentle. We will do more than just validate your feelings, but we will really get into the patterns that have been keeping you stuck and why. I believe it is important to understand yourself and I feel it is an honor for me to accompany you on your healing journey. We will uncover your truths and dive deep into an exploration of your heart and mind.
In our first session, you will get an understanding of your emotional imprint, which is the ways in which you have had to strategize to get your needs met and why you have struggled or experienced the patterns you have in your life.
