Monica Stuchlik

My specialty is trauma and transition, utilizing somatic, CBT, DBT, narrative, EMDR and DNMS. All techniques are provided within a holistic framework honoring all of the systems supporting your mental health. One of those systems, your body, impacts and informs your emotional experience, and is the system of focus in somatic techniques. In our sessions, your sense of connection to self and presence in the moment is the priority and goal.

First, please know that you are the expert on you. So, consider me a trained, experienced, collaborative, and encouraging partner in the healing and growth path you are curating. On this path, my collaboration and encouragement will be from a trauma-informed perspective, meaning that your ability to function and feel safe is our first priority. From there, we will harness the strength in your soul as you take steps towards healing and growth.

I counsel from a belief that stories are meant to be shared, human beings are beautifully complex, and strength is found in community. I also counsel holistically, considering your body, mind, soul and spirit. When we work together, you will experience more peace, health and wisdom by unfolding your story, creating a path for healing and growth.
