Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in helping children and families navigate the challenges that come with trauma, anxiety, and life stressors. Trauma can significantly impact daily life, affecting relationships, emotional well-being, and the ability to cope with everyday challenges. The effects can show up in ways such as difficulty focusing, heightened stress responses, or struggles with self-esteem, often creating a barrier to leading a fulfilling life.

With over 7 years of experience, I work with children ages 5 and up, providing tailored support to help them process their experiences and develop healthier coping strategies. Additionally, I offer caregiver support, helping parents and guardians strengthen their parenting skills and foster effective communication and connection with their children. I believe that when families are supported, they can thrive together, and I am here to help guide families toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

I am fluent in Spanish and have a deep understanding of Latinx culture, which allows me to connect with and support individuals and families in a culturally sensitive way. I recognize how cultural factors can impact healing practices, and I integrate this understanding into my approach to help clients feel truly heard and supported.

What sets my practice apart is my focus on parent-child attachment work. I understand that trauma does not define who you are. While it may impact your life, it does not have to dictate your future. I am deeply passionate about this work because I believe healing is possible, and every individual and family deserves the opportunity to reclaim their power and thrive.

What you can expect from me

In my practice, I use a trauma-informed and client-centered approach. Trust is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship, and I believe that healing begins when clients feel understood and safe. In our first few sessions, we’ll work to get to know each other and explore what you want to focus on in therapy. I’m committed to learning about your experiences, strengths, and passions, and supporting you in achieving your goals.
