Great to meet you!

I have worked in the mental health, addiction, trauma field for over 18 years. I specialize in trauma, family relationships, self esteem, mental health issues and effective communication. I have a master's in Psychology with a speciality in mental health counseling and a PhD in clinical psychology. I enjoy working with adolescence, adults and couples. I have worked with veterans and veteran families.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is taking an immense courage and my first priority is to create a space where yo feel comfortable safe, heard, and unjudged. My approach to therapy is deeply collaborative and tailored entirely to you. Rather than acting as a rigid expert who tells you ho to live, I look at us as a team. Together we will gently explore the patterns keeping you stuck while actively drawing on your existing strengths.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a balance of deep, meaningful exploration and practical tools you use the moment you leave. I will pull from CBT, DBT, EMDR< Psychodynamic, and Somatic therapy, meaning we will honor both your mind and your body's wisdom. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, healing from past hurts, or just trying to survive the day-to-day, you do not have to carry it alone.
