Great to meet you!

Therapy, for me, is first and foremost about connection. I believe that real healing happens when you feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. My role is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can bring all of who you are—your struggles, your hopes, your questions—and know that you won’t have to face them alone.

I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D) from the California School of Professional Psychology and have been a licensed psychologist (PSY21745) for over 16 years. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in private practice as well as with national organizations such as Lyra Health, Modern Health, and Spring Health, providing therapy to diverse individuals and couples. My areas of expertise include:

  • Couples therapy (communication struggles, disconnection, trust, intimacy)
  • Trauma-informed care and recovery
  • Anxiety, depression, and mood-related challenges
  • Life transitions, identity, and meaning-making
  • Stress management and burnout
  • Mindfulness and values-based living

I work with adults and couples from all walks of life, with a special passion for helping people strengthen their relationships, navigate emotional challenges, and reconnect with themselves. Above all, I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to the process. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and transform.

I’m also a fellow traveler in the human condition—someone who understands that life’s challenges are deeply personal, but also profoundly universal. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they navigate growth, healing, and transformation.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative approach, blending evidence-based practices such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples. This allows me to tailor our work to your unique needs rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to get to know you—not just the challenges that bring you in, but also your story, values, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, current concerns, and goals, while also giving you space to share whatever feels most important. This isn’t about rushing to a diagnosis or checklist—it’s about beginning a genuine connection.

You can expect a collaborative, compassionate environment where you’re met with curiosity rather than judgment. We’ll talk about what has and hasn’t worked for you in the past, and I’ll share how I work as a therapist so you can get a sense of whether it feels like the right fit. My approach is flexible and integrative, drawing from evidence-based methods, but always centered around your unique needs.

By the end of our first meeting, you’ll have a clearer picture of what therapy with me looks like, and we’ll identify some initial goals to guide our work together. Most importantly, my hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and a little lighter knowing you don’t have to navigate things alone.
