Great to meet you!

I’m Monique Bryce, Licensed Therapist (MSW, Hunter College), a trauma-informed clinician with 8+ years including hospital-based clinical experience in outpatient therapy. I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorders, domestic violence recovery, and military sexual trauma, and I use evidence-informed, skills-based approaches (CBT, MBCT, trauma stabilization, grounding, and safety planning) tailored to each person’s pace and goals. I provide a nonjudgmental, culturally humble space, prioritizing safety and collaborative treatment planning.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, practical, and client -centered. I integrate mindfulness, CBT, MBCT, and strengths-based approaches to help clients manage stress, navigate life challenges, and feel more grounded and confident in themselves. Together we will increase self-awareness, develop coping tools, and build on strengths you already have,

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in. We’ll explore what’s been feeling difficult, what you’d like to change, and the strengths you already have that can support you along the way. This first session is really about helping you feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we start figuring out what feels most helpful for you.
