Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Monique Cohn, a Licensed Psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) provider.

My professional background includes extensive experience in supporting individuals and families navigating ADHD, developmental delays, learning difficulties, behavioral concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I am committed to a patient-centered approach that integrates compassion with clinical expertise. This includes individualized treatment planning and evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I collaborate closely with other professionals to promote lasting growth and well-being. Services are available both in-person in the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay area, as well as virtually throughout Florida.

If you are seeking personalized support, I am here to help. Please contact me and learn more about how we can work together toward your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is evidence-based, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, Autism, behavioral concerns, and OCD using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

I frequently integrate parent coaching with child therapy to address behavioral challenges and strengthen family dynamics. For ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, I provide practical strategies to improve organization, time management, and self-confidence.

I work closely with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and lasting positive outcomes for children, adolescents, parents, and young adults.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive environment focused on understanding their concerns and goals. I conduct a thorough intake to gather relevant history and clarify presenting issues. Together, we discuss expectations, set initial goals, and outline a personalized plan. My aim is to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and empowered as we begin working toward meaningful progress.
