Great to meet you!

I work with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking greater clarity, emotional balance, and more fulfilling relationships. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and rooted in helping clients understand patterns, personal and relational, that may be keeping them stuck.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from NYU’s Silver School of Social Work and completed postgraduate training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York City, where I specialized in couples and family therapy: Couple's and Family Therapy Clinical Externship Certification Program (2020) and Social Work in Diversity Program Graduate (2016).

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, engaged, and direct when needed. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood, challenged in meaningful ways, and supported as they move toward lasting change.

I believe therapy works best when it feels both supportive and honest. In our work together, I help clients slow things down, build insight, and develop practical tools to manage anxiety, improve communication, and navigate life transitions. I pay close attention to family-of-origin dynamics, attachment patterns, and the ways past experiences continue to shape present relationships. It is important to blend our styles to provide the setting that you need in therapy.

What you can expect from me

Our free consultation call is the first step in setting a foundation for treatment. During this brief conversation, we’ll discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, clarify your goals, and determine whether my approach feels like a good fit.

If we move forward, the intake session builds on this conversation by exploring your concerns in more depth, reviewing relevant background, and establishing initial treatment goals. We’ll also discuss what the early sessions may focus on .
