Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions and other emotional challenges. My background includes individual and couples therapy, crisis intervention, comprehensive assessments and working with individuals from a wide range of life experiences and circumstances. I strive to support a creative and non judgmental space where people feel comfortable being themselves while working through difficult situations and identifying meaningful goals. I believe that therapy should be tailored to the person rather than taking a one size fits all approach.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive and focused on meeting the person where they are. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based CBT and other evidence based approaches to assist people with understanding their patterns, developing practical coping skills and work toward meaningful change. I believe in balancing compassion with accountability, while creating space where people can speak openly without feeling judged. Together, we identify realistic goals and build strategies that can be applied outside of the therapy session.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be focused on getting to know one another, gathering information, and building rapport. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals and whether I am the right fit to support you and your needs. I will also explain how I structure sessions, including any homework assignments or between session activities. We will make the most out of our time together and ensure that future sessions are focused on what you want and need from therapy.
