Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging and transformative moments. Throughout my career, I have worked with people experiencing mental health crises, depression, anxiety, chronic medical conditions, disabilities, and end-of-life concerns. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the unique circumstances, strengths, and challenges each person brings into the therapeutic space.

My approach to therapy is inquisitive, warm, affirming, and empowering. I believe that meaningful therapy begins with genuine curiosity about your experiences and not judgment or assumptions. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can be honest about what you're experiencing, explore patterns that may be holding you back, and develop a clearer understanding of yourself and your needs.

Whether you are navigating anxiety or depression, adjusting to changes in your health or circumstances, coping with a difficult transition, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of your next step, you don't have to navigate it alone. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you recognize the strengths you already possess, and work alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Therapy is not about telling you how to live your life. It is about creating a space where you can explore, heal, grow, and make choices that are meaningful to you. I would be honored to be part of that process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, inquisitive, affirming, and empowering. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you should feel heard, respected, and comfortable being your authentic self. I approach each client with curiosity and without judgment, taking the time to understand your experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals.

I draw from therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Depending on your needs, we may explore how thoughts and beliefs influence emotions and behaviors, identify practical solutions and strengths you can build upon, or work through uncertainty and barriers that may be making change difficult. I tailor interventions to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable sharing as much, or as little, as you feel ready to share.

During our first session, we will talk about what you are currently experiencing, what you would like support with, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current circumstances, strengths, and challenges. I also want to learn what has worked for you in the past and what may not have felt helpful.

Together, we will begin identifying realistic and meaningful goals for therapy. Depending on your needs, our initial goals may include gaining a better understanding of your emotions and thought patterns, developing healthy coping strategies, improving communication and relationships, managing anxiety or depression, navigating a life transition, or building confidence in making meaningful changes.

You do not need to have everything figured out before your first session. You also don't have to know exactly what you need from therapy. We can work together to figure that out.

Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about the therapeutic process. My goal is to meet you where you are and create a partnership that supports your growth at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.
