Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Monique Hawthorne, a licensed psychologist who supports children, adolescents, young adults, and families through life’s challenges. My work focuses on helping clients improve emotional regulation, strengthen coping skills, and build healthier relationships. I use practical, strengths-based approaches to help individuals and families feel empowered, supported, and better equipped for everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I work alongside clients to help them better understand their emotions, build coping skills, and make meaningful changes at their own pace. Sessions are tailored to each individual, with a focus on strengthening self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healthier patterns in daily life.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other in a comfortable, supportive environment. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been challenging, and what you’d like to change or improve. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps, so you leave the session with clarity and a sense of direction.
