Great to meet you!

I view therapy as a collaborative process grounded in trust, honesty, and mutual respect. I balance warmth with clarity and strive to offer a space that both accepts where you are and challenges you to grow.

I believe that culture, identity, and lived experience are integral to understanding how people make meaning of their emotions, relationships, and life experiences. These factors are intentionally incorporated into my clinical conceptualization, assessment, and intervention.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy through a culturally informed lens, recognizing how cultural background, identity, and systemic context shape emotional experience, relationships, and coping. I often serve as a mirror to help clients notice patterns, relational dynamics, and internal experiences while also offering practical strategies to support boundaries, communication, and alignment with personal values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on understanding what brings you to therapy at this point in your life. We will explore what you are experiencing, how you arrived here, and what you hope to gain from therapy moving forward.

I take time to learn about you within the context of your relationships, identity, culture, and lived experiences. My goal is to understand not only the concerns you want to address, but also the patterns, strengths, and values that shape how you navigate the world.
