Great to meet you!

Let me introduce myself, my name is Monique Moise, Mental Health Nurse practitioner.

Professional Background: I am a dedicated mental health nurse practitioner with a passion for making a difference in the lives of my patients. With 15 years of experience in the field, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from children to geriatric patients. My journey in mental health began three years ago, driven by a deeply personal mission to stop the pain and suffering caused by untreated mental health issues.

Education: I hold a master’s degree in psychiatric and mental health nursing from Walden University. My education provided me with a strong foundation in mental health care, and I continue to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field through continuous learning and professional development.

Philosophy: I believe in the importance of early intervention and the power of seeking help. Mental health matters, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. My goal is to empower my clients, promote healing, and enhance their overall well-being. I strive to create a supportive and compassionate environment where clients feel heard and valued.

Personal Message: I truly believe that with my help and your willingness to reach out, we can make a significant impact together. Help is here, so why not take it? Let's work together to improve your mental health and well-being.

Contact Information: If you have any questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please feel free to reach out to me at 754-364-6154.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered and holistic, meaning I focus on the whole person rather than just their symptoms. I believe in creating a supportive and compassionate environment where clients feel heard and valued. My goal is to empower clients to take an active role in their mental health journey.

Personalized Care: I understand that each client is unique, with their own set of experiences, challenges, and goals. I tailor my treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each individual, ensuring that they receive the most effective and appropriate care.

Active Listening: During appointments, I actively listen to my clients, taking the time to fully understand their concerns and experiences. This helps me to build a strong therapeutic relationship and to develop a treatment plan that is aligned with their goals.

Specializations: I specialize in treating individuals across the lifespan, from children to geriatric patients. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. I also provide support for individuals dealing with life transitions, stress, and relationship issues.

Collaborative Care: I believe in the importance of collaboration in the treatment process. I work closely with my clients to set goals, develop treatment plans, and make adjustments as needed. I also collaborate with other healthcare providers, when necessary, to ensure comprehensive care.

Education and Empowerment: I am committed to educating my clients about their mental health and the treatment options available to them. I believe that knowledge is power, and I strive to empower my clients to make informed decisions about their care.
