I completed my doctorate in nursing practice with a focus on psychiatry, and am a licensed mental health nurse practitioner in Virginia.
Prior to completing my doctorate, I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Chemistry from Towson University, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing Education, and practiced as a Registered Nurse in psychiatry for over 6 years.
I follow a holistic approach when providing support to my clientele. I consider how the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of a person impact their mental health. If one realm is out of balance, then everything else will be affected. I believe that a life with "perfect balance" is a myth. However, when we are cognizant of things that affect us and learn to bend with the wind, we create the life that lies within our deepest hopes and imaginations.
My treatment modality consists of holistic treatment plans that include therapy, healthy lifestyle practices, medication management, and ultimately-patient preferences. We work together to create a life you love, so you can love the life you live.
