Great to meet you!

My name is Monique Pommells—affectionately known as Miss Mo and I am the owner of Mo-Tivational Therapeutic Solutions, LLC. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s difficulties and find renewed motivation. I hold an Associate’s in Human Service, a Bachelor’s in Social Work, and a Master’s in Social Work. I specialize in a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety & Depression
  • Relationship Issues
  • Addiction & Recovery
  • Employment Discrimination
  • Child Welfare & Advocacy
  • Forensics
  • ADHD, Developmental Delays, & Autism

My approach to therapy

Transparency is at the heart of my practice. I believe in educating clients about their diagnoses through psychoeducation, exploring the “why” behind behaviors, and inspiring positive change. My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering—helping you understand yourself and motivating you to reach your goals. I utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Religious Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (RCBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Rapport Building
  • Psychodynamic Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Humanistic Approaches

What you can expect from me

From the moment you log on, you’ll be met with a warm, non-biased, and accepting environment. I strive to be understanding and non-judgmental, so you can feel safe sharing your experiences and concerns. During your first session, we’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin to build a trusting relationship. I’ll provide education about the therapeutic process and your diagnosis, and together we’ll start identifying the patterns and strengths that will guide your journey. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and motivated to move forward. If you’re ready to take the first step toward change, I invite you to reach out. Let’s work together to explore your strengths, overcome challenges, and create the life you deserve.
