Coming from a lower economic community and overcoming my own past traumas have given me a unique perspective that helps me to empathize and empower those I have the honor of working with. I became a counselor because your life is worth my time!
I utilize a Solution Focused Approach, to help youth, adolescents, adults and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, family conflict, trauma and those adjusting to the daily challenges of life. I have over 24 years of experience in education as a teacher, and school counselor that I bring into my work as an LPC.
