Great to meet you!

Are you used to being the one who holds everything together—but lately feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted?

I work with women who are balancing the demands of work, family, and everyday life while silently struggling with anxiety, depression, or ADHD. Many of my patients are used to being “the strong one” for others, often putting their own needs last. Over time, this can lead to burnout, difficulty focusing, poor sleep, and feeling mentally and emotionally drained.

My practice is especially supportive of Black women and others who may feel unseen or unheard in traditional healthcare settings. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and receive care that respects your experiences and values.

I provide thoughtful, personalized medication management along with supportive guidance to help you feel more balanced, focused, and in control. My approach is collaborative—I take time to listen, explain options clearly, and work with you to create a plan that fits your life.

If you’ve been carrying a lot on your own, you don’t have to do that here. I welcome you to reach out when you’re ready.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being open about your experiences.

I take time to listen and fully understand what you’re going through before making recommendations. When medication is appropriate, I provide clear education about options, benefits, and potential side effects so you can make informed decisions about your care.

I also recognize that many individuals—especially women who are used to being “the strong one”—may struggle in silence. My goal is to help you feel more balanced, supported, and in control, while working together to develop a plan that fits your life and needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will take time to get to know you and understand what brings you in. I will ask about your current concerns, symptoms, and any relevant history, including past treatment and medications.

This is a conversation—not an interrogation. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood.

We will also discuss your goals for treatment and begin to explore options, including whether medication may be helpful. I will explain everything clearly and answer any questions so you feel informed and supported in your decisions.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a better understanding of your symptoms and a plan for next steps.
