Monique Strickland

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare field, providing compassionate, client-centered care to adolescents and adults. My educational background includes earning my Licensed Vocational Nurse certificate from Los Angeles Trade Technical College, my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Public Health Nurse certification from Azusa Pacific University, and my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Wilkes University. Throughout my career, I have worked in mental health crisis urgent care settings managing both inpatient and outpatient clients ranging from ages 13 to 70, including individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises as well as those seeking ongoing support and stability. As a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional, I am especially passionate about supporting high-functioning professionals, caregivers, and individuals navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, and life transitions.

My approach combines clinical expertise with empathy, professionalism, and personalized care to help clients restore balance, resilience, and overall well-being.

My goal is to ensure that each client feels heard, respected, supported and empowered from the very beginning of their care journey.
