Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Addiction Counselor (CASAC2), I am dedicated to helping you move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to a place of proactive, sustainable growth.

My clinical foundation was built in the demanding environment of inpatient addiction rehabilitation. Working in that setting taught me how to meet people exactly where they are—on their best days and their absolute worst. I bring that same realistic, compassionate energy to my private practice.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic approach to each client, recognizing that our difficulties are often deeply connected to our family, socioeconomic, and spiritual environments. Our sessions will be a true collaboration focused on your strengths. I incorporate a variety of practical tools, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, to help you gently challenge harmful thought patterns, open yourself to new perspectives, and transform your challenges into concrete strategies for personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward therapy can seem daunting, but real growth often requires honesty and a willingness to face uncomfortable truths. Because of this, my primary goal in our first session is simply to take the pressure off and get to know each other.

One of the most important things to know about working with me from day one is that I am not here to “fix” you, nor do I pretend to have a magic wand. I believe you are the expert on your own experience. My role is to provide a grounded, straightforward, and completely non-judgmental space to help you uncover your inherent resilience and explore your full potential.

During our initial meeting, we will talk about what brings you in, get a sense of your day-to-day life, and make sure we are a good fit. Whether you are facing anxiety, navigating major life changes, seeking stability in your recovery, or wishing to break free from old patterns, we will work together to develop a treatment plan that respects your aspirations.

By the end of our first meeting, my hope is that you feel heard, respected, and have a better understanding of how we can collaborate to reach your goals.
