Great to meet you!

As a licensed marriage and family therapist I believe that having a safe space to turn to can help most of the problems in life. Being that safe space for you would be my main goal in our work together. As a therapist I have worked extensively with eating disorders as well as all aspects of maternal mental health, from infertility and miscarriage to pregnancy and postpartum.

My approach to therapy

When I approach therapy with a new client I don't come in with any plan other than to listen and learn where the holes are in your life. Within the therapeutic relationship you and I will work together as a team to figure out what works best for you to help you take back control. I am here to empathize with you, process with you, and push you in the nicest way possible.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together I would love to hear your whole life story, but we only have an hour. So instead, we'll start with what is going on in life that is keeping you from functioning the way you need to. We'll talk through where you want to get to with therapy as well as take the time to simply get comfortable with one another. Therapy looks different for everyone but the starting place is always the same, why are you here and how can I help?
