Great to meet you!

I was meant to be a therapist; I got an award for being the most kind and empathic 8th grader at my large, public middle school. I have since enhanced those innate qualities with degrees in social work and education and copious tools and resources (yoga, mindfulness, & EMDR, to name a few). Finally, I am a wife, daughter, sister, mother, and immigrant, which just means I've experienced much of what my clients have, and I'll never judge them for where they are in their journeys towards healing.

My approach to therapy

I have experienced the power of healing with talented therapists, and I use that personal experience to build a personal, meaningful and professional connection with clients. By gaining as much knowledge about my clients as I can before therapy even begins and through our initial sessions, we can build an individualized and targeted treatment plan to help them heal faster. Many clients finish therapy in a month; for some, it takes a couple of years. It just depends on what is bringing them in.

What you can expect from me

I believe that you are the expert on yourself, but I am honored to accompany you. Most of my clients leave even the initial session feeling lighter and armed with tools and resources. They tell me that even though what they are working on in therapy can be hard, they generally look forward to our sessions because our connection is strong, they know that I genuinely care about their growth and healing, and that my humor and openness help them heal organically.
