Great to meet you!

If you're an adolescent or adult carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, or the kind of exhaustion that comes from navigating life on your own for too long, therapy with me is meant to feel calm, unhurried, and genuinely supportive. I work with teens and adults facing relationship struggles, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and stress that's hard to shake. I also support parents of children and young adults with ADHD or autism-related needs, and I have experience working with individuals and families facing complex mental health and substance use challenges. My background spans community mental health, crisis stabilization, outpatient care, and hospital settings, so I've sat with a wide range of what people go through.

My approach to therapy

I don't come to sessions with a script or a list of things you "should" do. My goal is to help you get clearer on what already resonates with you, so the steps you take feel grounded and self-directed rather than prescribed. I use real-life examples and personal allegories to make difficult or overwhelming concepts feel more manageable, and I bring a warm, collaborative presence to every session. I approach each person's story with cultural humility and genuine curiosity. When the moment calls for it, a little well-timed humor can go a long way in making the harder conversations feel lighter.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really just a conversation. We'll talk about what brought you here, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping to find on the other side of it. I'll be listening more than talking, and there's no pressure to have it all figured out before you arrive. If you're nervous, that's completely normal. We move at whatever pace feels right for you, and by the end of the session, you'll have a clearer sense of whether this feels like a good fit.
