Great to meet you!
I began practicing in 2014, I have a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I believe that issues come from multiple areas instead of just one and that finding solutions for long-term health are key.

I began practicing in 2014, I have a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I believe that issues come from multiple areas instead of just one and that finding solutions for long-term health are key.
My therapy model is more integrative, there are parts of CBT, Narrative, Solution-Focused and Structural incorporated and used as needed to allow clients to
not only see the system they are a part of, but the effect they have had on it, could have on it and what effect they want to have on it. I am also working on integrating more and more models that include a historical context such as Bowen due to how much of an impact the family history
has on a client's present functioning. My therapy model uses the clients' ability to adapt, search for solutions and maintain or improve upon the positive changes sought after in therapy so that the client does not focus on functioning as it was, but better.
I am going to ask questions. I am going to be authentic. I want to get to know what it is you are looking for; we can discuss how I can help and what each of our expectations will be for therapy and I will let you decide. I'm here to help you obtain clarity and information so that you can make an informed decision for your life.
