Great to meet you!

Hi! I have been in the therapy field for over 18 years, working with individuals and families in both outpatient, group, and residential settings. After a few unsatisfying careers and emotional stagnation in relationships, I recognized I needed to do some significant work on myself. I pursued therapy for myself which led me to appreciate the capacity and curiosity to want to help others.

My approach to therapy

I would say my style is compassionate, eclectic, curious, and humorous.

I have worked with clients of all ages, ethnicities, gender, cultural, and religious identification. I believe therapy is a collaborative process as we build a therapeutic relationship. I have training in several modalites (psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, narrative, trauma informed) and I tailor treatment based on your specific needs. This includes treatment style, pace, and compassionate confrontation to help you work through whatever is getting in the way.

What you can expect from me

After an initial informational session, we''ll work to establish a safe therapeutic setting and identify what you want to work on, what has been getting in the way, and make a roadmap to get there.

If you have done therapy before, I'm also curious what has and has not worked for you in the past, what you would like to do differently and what you would like to focus on.
