Great to meet you!

If you're a parent trying to hold everything together while your child struggles — with school, disability, behavior, or something you can't quite name — or if you're navigating a relationship or family dynamic that feels stuck, I want you to know this: you don't have to figure it out alone.

I've spent over 13 years working inside schools alongside families and kids who weren't just facing emotional challenges — they were navigating IEPs, special education systems, crisis moments, and a world that often didn't have space for them. That experience shaped how I work. I don't just understand these dynamics in theory — I've sat inside them.

Today I bring that same grounded, practical approach to working with adults and adolescents through telehealth across Illinois

My approach to therapy

My sessions are practical and collaborative. I'm not going to sit quietly while you talk into a void — I'll be in it with you, naming patterns, offering real tools, and helping you build skills that actually translate to your day-to-day life.

I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Bowen Family Systems — which means I'm looking at both your individual patterns and the family dynamics that shape them. I work at your pace and tailor each session to what you've identified as most important.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to slow down and begin. I structure it as a conversation — guided but not rushed — so you have space to share what brings you in and what you're hoping to change. We'll talk about your goals, what life looks like right now, and how I approach the work.

My aim is simple: that you leave feeling heard, supported, and clear that this is a safe place to come back to.
