I am a narrative therapist at heart, and I believe there is deep healing in processing your story with an unbiased, caring helper. My hope is to understand how you’ve adapted to difficult circumstances and to help gently unblend the anxious, depressed, angry, and traumatized parts of you from your true self.
For those who wish to explore trauma more deeply or find relief from persistent patterns, I offer EMDR therapy. I am also trained in ASSYST EMDR, which is designed to support individuals experiencing recent stress, trauma, or grief.
I approach all concerns through the lens of family systems and ecological systems, helping us understand how your past and present environments have shaped your development and coping. My goal is to create a space where your experiences make sense and your healing can unfold.
The pace of the first session is completely up to you. Some people feel ready to dive right in, while others prefer to start slowly. We’ll begin by introducing ourselves, and you can share what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain from the process.
This is also your chance to get a feel for whether I’m the right fit for you. Together, we can explore what you’d like your healing journey to look like and make a plan that feels supportive and doable.
You’re invited to bring up any fears, questions, or past therapy experiences, good or bad. Everything you share helps me understand how to show up for you in the way you need. This is your space, and I’m here with a flexible, compassionate approach to meet you exactly where you are.
