Great to meet you!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating various life transitions, stressors, and relationship challenges. I’m originally from Tennessee and moved to Colorado to complete my graduate training at the University of Denver.
I also completed an additional certification in Animal-Assisted Social Work (AASW) and have a certified therapy dog (Bailey) who may be incorporated into sessions when appropriate and/or per client request.
My approach is collaborative, direct, and goal-oriented. I use relational therapy techniques, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build insight while also identifying practical steps forward. I bring a realistic perspective to therapy - change takes time, it's all of our first times living, and there’s no expectation to have anything figured out, even late in life.
I aim to create a space that is straightforward and nonjudgmental. I use humor when appropriate, and focus on helping clients make progress in a way that feels sustainable and meaningful to them.
