Great to meet you!

Welcome! Allow me to be part of your healing journey and help you live a fulfilling life. I have over twenty years of experience as a psychotherapist and have earned a master's degree and a doctorate degree in Clinical psychology. I specialize in treating a variety of issues including stress management, depression, anxiety, eating disorders in older adults, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, early childhood trauma. Let's work together to clear the path to your authentic self.

My approach to therapy

I am warm, empathic, and genuine. I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. This helps to foster trust, growth and change. I see symptoms as part of the human experience that serve a function in my clients' lives. When clients heal, those symptoms no longer serve them.

I use humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches in the conceptualization phase. I rely on ACT, mindfulness, solution focused and CBT in the treatment phase as well to sustain progress and change.

What you can expect from me

I create a warm environment in order to help my clients be themselves. During the session, my clients feel heard, truly seeing, cared for and never judged, no matter what they share with me. I also see myself as the tool to facilitate growth and change. I am usually animated, engaged and use humor to reduce anxiety and built rapport. I often use guided imagery and stress reduction techniques to deal with anxiety and help clients feel grounded.
