Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Moya O’Leary, PsyD, LPC, a licensed therapist specializing in perinatal and maternal mental health. I help women and families navigate the emotional challenges of pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, fertility struggles, and pregnancy loss. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT and trauma-informed care. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and tailored to your real life — not a one-size-fits-all process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion and clinical expertise. I integrate evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed practices to help clients find meaningful relief and growth. I specialize in perinatal and maternal mental health, supporting women and families through pregnancy, postpartum transitions, fertility challenges, and grief after loss.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a calm, welcoming space where you can take a breath and share what’s been bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what you’d like to work toward, and what has or hasn’t helped in the past. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out — this is simply the start of a supportive process.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and outline a plan that feels manageable and meaningful. Many clients say they leave the first session feeling heard, relieved, and more hopeful about the path ahead. My focus is always on building safety and trust so you feel comfortable being yourself and exploring what matters most.
