Great to meet you!

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and women's issues, with a particular focus on serving BIPOC populations — including Nigerian American communities locally and internationally. I am deeply passionate about breaking down the psychological, environmental, and social stigmas surrounding mental health in these communities, and I work to redefine what mental healthcare looks like by providing clear, accessible information about diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

My greatest strengths are my expertise in psychopharmacology and my commitment to being a non-judgmental listener. I believe every client deserves to feel truly heard and seen, and I bring that value into every session. Outside of work, you'll find me reading, pushing myself in HIIT classes, or tackling a new DIY project.

My approach to therapy

My approach is individualized, adaptable, and collaborative. I prioritize building genuine trust with my clients so that we can develop mutually agreed-upon treatment plans — ones that you feel invested in and confident about. I believe the best outcomes happen when clients are active partners in their own care. I also draw on my psychopharmacology expertise to offer a well-rounded, informed perspective on treatment options when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

Many clients come to me after noticing that "something was off," feeling they've hit a breaking point, or recognizing that their daily functioning has been significantly impacted. In our first session, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space to share your story at your own pace. We'll explore what's brought you in, what matters most to you, and begin laying the groundwork for a care plan that's tailored to your goals. My aim is for you to leave that first session feeling heard — and hopeful.
