Great to meet you!

Welcome, and thank you for taking steps to care for your psychological health. You may be navigating life transitions, struggling with painful emotions, or seeking to realize your potential. Whatever brings you here, I am glad you are considering therapy as a path toward greater connection and healing.

I work with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, as well as those navigating life transitions, parenting challenges, self-esteem concerns, and cultural or acculturative stressors. Formerly a tenured professor of psychology and education for over 15 years, I am attuned to the challenges of high-pressure professional environments.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a compassionate space where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Drawing on research-informed and culturally attuned strategies, I will help you recognize strengths, build resilience, and cultivate deeper connections with yourself and others.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, we will explore what brought you to therapy, discuss your hopes and goals, and identify what feels important to you. These early conversations are meant to help you feel heard and understood as we begin this process.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to ensure I can best support your needs. Sessions are available in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
