Great to meet you!

I am a social worker with more than 8 years of experience.

I graduated from Rutgers in 2012 with a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology, then in 2017 with a MSW.

I have worked in various locations where most clients experienced trauma that made it difficult to cope with their reality.

In addition to my LCSW, I serve clients with histories of addiction through my LCADC.

Lastly, I am a certified clinical supervisor hoping to prepare newer clinicians for their role in serving humanity.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Underlying our conscious behavior is the nervous system trying to navigate life's challenges.

I use psychoanalytic techniques to make you more aware of how the nervous system influences your behavior. The challenge is aligning your responses to life's stressors that reflect your beliefs and values.

I look at your time with me as an opportunity for you to become more aware. You will monitor your self-talk and become more mindful of choices, ensuring they prioritize your needs and priorities.

What you can expect from our first session

I ask my clients to focus on gaining self-awareness and making connections between their current behaviors and broader patterns.

We will better understand the self-talk that drives their behavioral patterns. By focusing on why your nervous reacts the way it does when stressed, we can get into the habit of making choices most suitable to your growth.

I am in the business of changing brain chemistry. Consistency is paramount to your progress. Step by step until we get to where you want to be.
