Great to meet you!

I’m Mya Lacay McNeil, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, and other challenges that can make everyday life feel overwhelming. You may be feeling stuck, struggling to manage your emotions, or simply trying to feel more confident and in control of your life. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood while helping you develop the skills to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we’ll work on understanding patterns, managing overwhelming emotions, developing healthier ways to cope, and building confidence in yourself. I’ll offer guidance, feedback, and practical strategies you can use outside of therapy—not just a space to talk, but tools to help you create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, we’ll take time to understand what brought you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult, and what you would like to change. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free environment where your experiences are validated and we work together to develop goals that feel meaningful and achievable.
