Great to meet you!

Navigating life’s constant changes can be overwhelming — after all, we’re all experiencing this journey for the first time, and mistakes are simply part of the process. As a therapist, my goal is to help you turn challenges into growth opportunities and support you in building a more fulfilling, balanced life.

I bring a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, offering psychoeducation, personalized strategies, and homework challenges to help you stay focused and empowered. My work centers on helping clients develop strong boundaries, confidently advocate for their needs, and enhance their sense of self-worth. I especially enjoy supporting clients in learning to navigate conflict, build healthier relationships, and communicate more effectively.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Psychology from Walden University. Since becoming a licensed professional counselor in 2018, I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, and private practice — giving me the privilege of supporting a wide range of individuals and concerns. I often say, “I’ve seen a little bit of everyone with a little bit of everything going on.”

My approach to therapy

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and a Person-Centered approach to guide our work together. You can expect genuine care, humor, thought-provoking conversations, and a meet-you-where-you-are attitude to help make the counseling process both impactful and approachable.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy is a courageous step — opening up can be intimidating, but the journey toward healing and self-understanding is always worth it. First sessions allow us to get to know one another. After understanding my clients back ground, we develop a goal for treatment and identify steps going forward that allow for self-compassion and accountability. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
