Great to meet you!

My name is Myesha and I honored with the opportunity to partner with you and work towards your wellness together. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have 14 years of experience working with children, teens, young adults and adults in various capacities. I obtained my master's degree in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University. I have lots of experience working with those who are having interpersonal relationship struggles, depression, anxiety and trauma. Over my years of experience in the field, I have seen clients make great progress in these areas with the help of work done in and out of sessions.

My approach to therapy

Life is hard and we all need support and a place where we feel safe and accepted to work through the changes and transitions that life brings. Being able to have a place where you can process hard or confusing things, learn or refresh coping strategies, navigate the effects of painful situations or just be, it is all an opportunity to grow! Whether interpersonal relationship issues, low motivation, sadness, stressed out, worried about lots of things, employment changes, racial trauma, need for self-growth and development, there is nothing wrong with you! Instead there is a lot that is right with you!

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will work together to identify your goals as well as give space for you to get to know me, ask questions and share concerns. Building rapport and trust would be the priority in the initial sessions. From there we will we can work together to identify strengths to build upon and healthy ways to navigate and overcome life's ups and downs. We all deal with things differently and often need a space to understand ourselves and find out what it is that we need. With empathic support and compassion, we will identify the tools and strategies that work best for you!
