Great to meet you!

I am an experienced nurse practitioner with nearly three decades of healthcare experience. Triple board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care), I have spent my career empowering clients through collaborative decision-making about their physical and mental health.

My experience spans diverse populations from late adolescence through middle adulthood. I have supported women through significant life challenges, including pregnancy options counseling, infertility, pregnancy loss, traumatic birth experiences, the transition to parenthood, and menopause. I also work with individuals navigating life transitions, mental health diagnoses, and substance use challenges. Passionate about providing affirming care, I strive to ensure LGBTQ+ individuals receive respectful, compassionate support for their mental health needs. Above all, I am committed to partnering with my patients as they navigate their unique emotional journeys.

I manage depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, and ADHD. I am happy to work collaboratively with a client's therapist to optimize care. I do not treat psychotic disorders or significant substance use/addiction as a primary diagnosis. Appointments are available in person and via telehealth to ensure accessible, flexible care.

My approach to therapy

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I take a holistic approach to care, considering the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence mental well-being. I incorporate supportive therapy as part of medication and symptom management, always prioritizing a collaborative approach to treatment that respects individual preferences and needs. By integrating evidence-based treatments with self-care strategies, mindfulness techniques, and psychotherapy, we can address the mind, body, and spirit to foster a greater sense of balance and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and empowered in their mental health journey. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I take a holistic and individualized approach, helping clients gain insight into their symptoms, develop coping strategies, and explore treatment options that align with their goals. Through medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy, I strive to provide clarity, reassurance, and practical tools to enhance well-being. My goal is for each client to leave sessions feeling validated, informed, and confident in their path toward healing and stability.
