Great to meet you!

I have over 10 years of experience working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and immigrant communities across Texas and New York. I approach therapy from a holistic perspective that integrates culture, social justice and strengths based perspectives. My goal is for you to reconnect with yourself in a way that feels genuine and authentic to who you are- not who others expect you to be.

My approach to therapy

Sometimes we doubt ourselves and our ability to move forward, not realizing we already have the tools to heal. Together we will identify systems of oppression that impact your well-being and use new and existing strengths to help you achieve your goals and heal. I pride myself in taking a holistic approach and strongly believe that desirable outcomes occur by starting in whatever place feels most comfortable and safe for you!

I believe that our experiences and beliefs greatly shape the way in which we respond to stress and to joy! At times this might mean unlearning harmful beliefs about ourselves and the world in order to be able to fully connect with ourselves. At other times, this might mean leaning more into the values and beliefs that make us feel strong.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend some time getting to know your current needs, then go back in time to see how they've evolved. What is most important is for us to pace and build a good relationship, not talk about everything that will come with time!
