Great to meet you!

I am from Trinidad W. I.came to this country over 40 years ago and had various jobs from different hospital settings and drug rehabs. I graduated from Fordham University and I have been a licensed Clinical Social Worker and working in this field for over 20 years with individuals and families who are of different cultures and races with complex life issues.

My specialty is working with people who are anxious or depressed.

My approach to therapy

Factors that make my practice unique: Dedication, Mercy, Compassion and good listening skills. Using an eclectic approach, techniques and strategies to help you cope with life, and deal with present issues. Having over 25 years experience, using Evidence Based practices and CBD techniques to make you more empowered to deal with life stressors.

What you can expect from me

Clients can look forward to a new perspective in therapy. My goal is to help you find hope for the future and see the positives in your life. The opportunity to see sometimes the bleak situations in their life differently. You can expect a non- judgmental approach and good listening skills to help you find solutions and techniques to help you cope with the challenges you face. I will help you find your strengths while recognizing your fears, facing them and work on finding new coping skills.
