Great to meet you!

As a Mental Health Counselor, I enjoy helping adults navigate the seasons of life when things feel uncertain, overwhelming, or simply no longer fit the way it used to. My work focuses on anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-worth, burnout, and personal growth, with a particular interest in women's wellness and supporting BIPOC clients. I take a holistic and culturally responsive approach, considering the many parts of your life that influence how you feel, think, and function. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, understood, seen, empowered, and comfortable being your authentic self. I am especially passionate about empowering Black and marginalized communities to transform experiences of trauma and pain into resilience, healing, and personal power.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative experience where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. My approach is holistic, practical, and culturally responsive while allowing room for honesty, humor, and real conversations. I'll listen, ask thoughtful questions, challenge you when needed, and help you develop tools that support greater self-awareness, confidence, and balance.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for you to share what brings you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope will be different. Together, we'll identify what matters most to you and begin creating a realistic path toward your goals. I'll ask questions, listen closely, and help you begin making sense of what may be getting in the way. You can expect a welcoming, judgement-free space where you can be yourself, take things at your own pace, and know that we're working together.
